Preschool
| Sandy Wagner, as Pastor of the Jr. Kidz 2:52 Department, ministers to babies, preschoolers and kindergartners. Luke 2:52 states that just as "Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man," our goal is to support children in their growth and development according to this scripture. Pastor Sandy sees the importance of ministering to the entire family. Also, as the parents are ministered to, the "trickle down effect" will impact the lives of their children. Our goal is to assist parents in training their children in their spiritual development and commitment to Christ. |
Besides showing the love of Christ, it is the passion of the Jr. Kidz 2:52 staff and volunteers to help train our children in the ways of the Lord, and lay a spiritual foundation that strengthens and develops as they promote into the elementary department and beyond. Community's Jr. Kidz are seperated into age groups where learning activities are age-appropriate. Children learn about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and other Bible characters through Biblical materials presented from books, flash cards, videos, music, puppetry, food activities, and fun-filled art and craft experiences. It is Pastor Sandy's desire to create in the lives of children a love and passion for serving God that will carry into eternity. Together, through prayer and commitment to serve, we as a team of believers will fulfill the purpose God has for each child. |
Children
| Sunday Mornings: We wish to present The Bible to the children in an exciting way, where it is easy for them to learn and apply the lessons to their lives. They will have fun praising God with energetic praise Songs and learn God’s words from characters like “Wild Man” and "Sissy Bean”. They will have a chance to act out Bible Stories and also there will be time to kneel at the altar and learn how to worship God and hear His Voice… Sunday Nights: We have Round Table where they learn character traits and how to live them out daily in there lives. |
Wednesdays: We have small groups where volunteers build relationships with the kids and teach them God’s word by searching in the scriptures and sharing their life experiences. Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday we have KIAC (Kid’s In Action Club) where kids sign up and learn to use their gifts and talents to minister to others. They learn dance, drama, puppets, serving, object lessons and more. |
Day Camp
Community Church has partnered with Community Christian School to provide a Fun, Exciting, God focused day care for children during the summer. This is a wonderful way for your children to build relationships, stay active, and go on awesome field trips to places like NASA, Galleria Ice Skating, and Lazer Tag. As of right now Daily cost is $20 and weekly cost $90. More information and registration information will be availably in March. Councilor Applications are also available in March. Special Events
| Back to School Bash: The Wednesday after school starts we have an event for your children to invite their new school friends to come have fun and games and if they do not have a home church then we would like to welcome them to come join us. Wacky Wednesday: Every fifth Wednesday of the month will be Wacky Wednesday. There will be costume contests, more games and more prizes. Kids need to feel valued and when we spend time to let them be kids, they learn to love God and want to serve Him. |
Sleepover: Every Summer we make time to have a girls Princess sleepover so the girls know how special they are in God’s eyes, and once school starts the boys have their sleepover and learn how to be honorable godly men. Christmas Musical: Every September we start our practice for our Christmas Musical, this is a great time for the children to use their gifts and talents to present the message of Christ. Special Events: We love to make following Christ an exciting adventure for your children, so stay in touch and check calendars for new events. |
