RESTORE, REFRESH, REBUILD.
Read Below for some history/insight into the vision of Community Church

In 2017 Orange Texas and the surrounding areas were struck by an  powerful Hurricane. Hurricane Harvey dropped rain totals in 24 hours that accummulated to 60 inches in some parts of Southeast Texas including Orange. Community Church suffered catastrophic flooding damage totalling up to 3ft in the buidling in someplaces. One of the worst hit places in our church/school was our sanctuary. After the storm the total damage came to over 2 million dollars to fix everything that was damaged in the storm. That school year our student that attended Community Chrisitian School meet in a Rented furniture building. iSince 2017 the church leadership has been working hard with fema to move along a slow and  tedious repair for the church and school. We have seen Gods hand as he has provided us with meeting in our School Campus since 2018. As you look at our church and school you may wonder why the work has not been done and why it is moving slow? There is a process with fema and other 3rd party companies that require us to follow certain procedures. God is still moving as he has sent people to the church that he has tasked With restoring Community Church back to its full potential. God sent Pastors Loyd and Leslie Thurman to Community Church to Restore, Refresh, and Rebuild Community Church and families to what it was and beyond. We have made serious progress since he was elected in March 2020 and God isnt going to stop there. Pastor Loyd Believes the vision for this church is to be restored to what it was  and believes God is not going to stop there.
